21世紀人權教育(上)

　　本書是由世界著名的「賓州大學人權研究中心」（Pennsylvania Studies in Human Rights）邀請全美及世界各地人權教育專家共同撰寫而成，並受到「全民十年人權教育組織」之經費贊助。

　　內容主要為：理論與脈絡；師資培育、學院與成人教育的取向；特定專業（工作者）的人權教育；社區本位與非正式人權教育；資源與基金。

　　但其全書基本精神有三點：
　　第一、人權構成了全體人類共有的文化傳統（The first notion is that human rights constitute the human heritage of all humankind.）；其次、人權應該規範所有的人類論述與對話（Second, Human rights should frame human discourse and dialogue.）
　　第三、人權乃為保護人們免於被傷害與用於保護自己之所需（Third, human rights are needed to protect people from harm and to help them protect themselves.）。

　　本書可為二十一世紀人權教育理論與實際之全方位指南，殆無疑義！
