作者簡介 清洪 出生於馬來西亞，隨後到新加坡及英國接受教育。於劍橋大學取得法學士學位及國際法文憑。 到香港開展法律專業生涯以前，曾擔任《遠東經濟評論報》助理編輯及英倫報章《衛報》中國通訊員。當年曾遍遊中國各地及發表多篇有關國家事務的文章，他更是首位報道毛主席麾下前統帥林彪喪生的新聞從業員。 一九七六年於香港晉身地方法院（現區域法院）暫委法官。一九八八年獲頒授御用大律師資格。職業生涯中一直專注於刑事法及個別民事法如誹謗法。一九九六年成為仲裁員公會會員。 此外更兼任多項公職，當中包括香港報業評議會成員、福建省政協、前大律師紀律委員會副召集人、前暴力及執法傷亡賠償組成員、中國海外聯誼會理事、香港城市大學及香港樹仁大學兼任教授。曾擔任選擇香港特區行政長官的推選委員會成員。 較早前替《東週刊》及現時於星期日《星島日報》撰寫專欄。其大律師事務所約由三十名大律師所組成。
