威利狄克遜－作為芝加哥最重要的作曲家和製作人，他幾乎是當時所有作品的創作者，且聲名遠播、名揚四海，甚至連齊柏林飛船負責人都曾瞟竊他的作品並賣出幾百萬張的唱片銷量。
好景不長，美國樂壇對藍調的興趣日漸式微，搖滾樂及R&B開始征服各大排行榜，然而一群英國年輕小夥子卻發現了藍調這種音樂一點也不過氣－披頭四、滾石樂隊、奶油樂隊、艾瑞克克萊普頓、約翰梅爾...等人都翻唱、重製了這些藍調經典曲目，也因此實現了全球性的藍調復興。
