2014年是蘇格蘭重要的一年，七月在格拉斯哥舉行英聯邦運動會（Commonwealth Games），九月舉辦獨立公投，並迎接萊德杯（Ryder Cup）高爾夫球比賽的到來。為了迎接這一連串的盛事，小提琴家班乃德提特別錄製了這張以故鄉蘇格蘭為主題的專輯，作為歷史見證。其中收錄《蘇格蘭幻想曲》、《羅莽湖畔》、《我的愛像一朵朵紅玫瑰》、《愛之吻》、《友誼萬歲》（驪歌）、《溫柔的光芒喚醒我》等雋永的經典名曲與民謠。 出生於蘇格蘭的班乃德提，一直以蘇格蘭的文化根源為榮，她是有史以來古典全英音樂獎（Classic BRITs）獲得提名最多的女性音樂家。上一張專輯「銀色小提琴」（The Silver Violin）僅以七週的時間便登上英國古典榜的第一名，並且還在流行榜上獲得32名的好成績，這是自1991年龐克小提琴家甘迺迪（Nigel Kennedy）之後，古典器樂專輯的最高名次。因為她傑出的成就，2013年即獲頒「大英帝國最優秀勳章」（Most Excellent Order of the British Empire）之「員佐勳章」（Member，簡稱「MBE」）的肯定。
專輯中，除了班乃德提獨挑大樑，與BBC蘇格蘭交響樂團一同協奏，此外還邀請知名的蘇格蘭音樂家合作，包括民謠歌手Julie Fowlis（曾為迪士尼-皮克斯的電影《勇敢傳說》（Brave）之配樂獻唱）、手風琴手Phil Cunningham，以及提琴手Aly Bain。悠揚的琴音將蘇格蘭經典的旋律詮釋到無以復加的完美境界，無論是想體驗新聲音的樂友或是聽門道的樂迷，都可以從這張專輯中獲得極大的音樂享受。 曲目:
