朱望

汕頭大學文學院外國語言文學系教授，兩次赴美國、一次赴英國作英國文學和西方文化研究項目（項目一個）。從1996年至今發表現代英國文學論文多篇，如《論T.S論艾略特的文化保守主義》《文學與文化之間：〈論印度之行〉跨文化的多重意義》《論喬伊絲〈一個青年藝術家的畫像〉中的社會化意義》等（刊于《外國文學研究》《國外文學》《外國文學》《英美文學研究論叢》《解放軍外語學院學報》等期刊）。

著有《現代英國文學大家》和《現當代西方文化名家》，形成了文學與文化相輔相成的配套英文教材。教授現代英國文學20年（汕大教學無記名評估每位學期97—99分，名列全校/校平均分88）；任碩士導師12年；完成汕頭大學的“20世紀英國文學”精品課程建設專案，本教材就是專案建設的主要內容；獲雲南省“教師”稱號，多次獲雲南大學校級、省級和汕頭大學校級獎，並獲得“李嘉誠基金會教師獎”。
